I'm an Executive-in-Residence and Assistant Teaching Professor of Finance at Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business. I also produce feature films, advise startups, and research how technology is reshaping how we invest and how we teach. Before academia, I was a CPA, a startup CFO, and the guy managing film budgets on set in South America.
Bridging practitioner insight with academic rigor.
I teach finance the way I learned it — by doing it.
I teach undergraduate and graduate finance at Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business, and guest lecture at Nordakademie in Hamburg, Germany and other institutions across the US and Europe. I bring startup operations, film finance, and real deal experience into the classroom — not just textbook models.
My current curriculum work focuses on integrating cryptocurrency and blockchain into finance courses, using AI tools to enhance business education, and exploring gamification as a way to deepen student engagement. I've presented on artificial intelligence in the classroom and am actively developing new approaches to teaching emerging topics in finance.
